A1 Bison Meatloaf Burgers
This A1 Bison Meatloaf Burger earned second place in our Summer BBQ Recipe Contest, and it is easy to see how it landed near the top. Created by one of our followers, it takes everything people love about a classic meatloaf and turns it into a burger built for the grill.
Meatloaf and burgers are both comfort food classics, so combining them was probably never going to be a bad idea. The A1 sauce adds a little extra savory flavor, while the breadcrumbs and seasonings give the burger that familiar meatloaf feel.
With all those flavors already packed into the burger, it just makes sense to use Great Range Bison as the burger base. Bison is naturally lean, which helps balance all the savory flavors going on and keeps the burger from feeling too heavy.
Here is what Felicia had to say about her second-place pick:
“These burgers held up really well on the grill and resulted in thick, juicy patties – the pretzel buns and Swiss cheese were great additions to the bison burger too!”
This recipe delivers, making it easy to enjoy every last bite.
