Crock Pot BBQ Bison
In our latest recipe poll, this delicious crock pot BBQ bison recipe won in a landslide, so here it is making its début out of the Great Range Bison recipe vault. It’s a tasty and easy recipe that is sure to become a family favorite.
While a few different bison cuts would work well for this dish, we recommend using Great Range Bison Pot Roast and serving our BBQ bison on fresh rolls with a green salad and corn on the cob.
Crock Pot BBQ Buffalo
- 4 lbs bison pot roast
- 1 can beer (12oz)
- 14 oz bottle of ketchup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 4-6 rolls
Whisk together the sugar, beer and ketchup.
Put the bison pot roast into your crock pot and pour mixture over the top.
Cook on high 6-8 hours or until you can easily cut on shred the bison meat with a fork.
Serve shredded BBQ bison on fresh rolls.
We recommend serving with a green salad and corn on the cob.
